Dr. Karanjgaokar graduated from Seth G.S. Medical College and KEM hospital in Mumbai, India. She practiced medicine in the United Kingdom at Hull Royal Infirmary before moving to New York for a residency in Internal Medicine at Lincoln Medical Center in New York in 2010. She then completed her fellowship in Nephrology at the Saint Barnabas/Newark Beth Israel program.
Dr. Karanjgaokar joined Nephrological Associates in 2013. She is actively involved in teaching nephrology fellows, residents and medical students at Saint Barnabas Medical Center. Dr. Karanjgaokar is Board Certified in Nephrology and Internal Medicine, and is a member of American Society of Nephrology. She serves as the Medical Director of the Fresenius Kidney Care Bloomfield and Harrison dialysis units. She speaks English, Hindi, Marathi and Spanish. She is trained in Indian classical vocals, and loves cooking and travelling with her husband and daughters.
