Dr. Zenenberg joined Nephrological Associates in 2001. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Connecticut where he received a BS in Molecular and Cellular Biology. He then went to The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine for medical school, where he was the recipient of the Christian R. and Mary F. Lindback Foundation Scholarship Award for Academic Achievement and was inducted into the Sigma Alpha Omicron Medical Honor Society. Dr. Zenenberg went on to complete his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Connecticut. At graduation from his residency program, he was the recipient of the Maxwell O. Phelps, MD award for scholarship. He went on to complete his Nephrology Fellowship at New York University, after which he joined Nephrological Associates. 
 

Dr. Zenenberg is the Division Chief of Nephrology and Clinical Chief of the Department of Internal Medicine at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ. He is also Medical Director of the hospital’s inpatient hemodialysis unit. He is very involved with the teaching of residents and fellows at Saint Barnabas Medical Center and Morristown Medical Center and has received multiple teaching awards over the years. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School. He also serves as Medical Director of the outpatient Fresenius Medical Care West Essex Dialysis Unit. Dr Zenenberg has been a regular New Jersey Monthly’s “Top Doctor”. He is Board Certified in Nephrology and Internal Medicine.
