Dr. Lyman has been in private practice in Nephrology for over 35 years. He previously served as Director of Dialysis Services at Saint Barnabas Medical Center and is the emeritus Chief of the Renal Section. Dr. Lyman is an Alpha Omega Alpha honors graduate of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and did his Internal Medicine training at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York where he was Chief Medical Resident.  He completed his Renal Fellowship training at both Boston University and Mount Sinai.

Dr. Lyman has won numerous awards including Subspecialist of the Year from the Saint Barnabas Medical Center Department of Medicine multiple times. He has over 50 publications in the field of Nephrology, and he has been included in New Jersey Monthly’s Top Doctor Nephrology list since its inception. He is the Medical Director of the Fresenius Medical Care Saint Barnabas Ambulatory Care Center Dialysis Unit in Livingston, NJ.
