Dr. Goodman joined Nephrological Associates in 2009, and is a founding board member of Northeast Kidney Care. He is Board Certified in Nephrology and Internal Medicine, and is a member of the American Society of Nephrology and the National Kidney Foundation. Dr. Goodman serves as the Medical Director of the Fresenius Kidney Care North Montclair outpatient dialysis unit, and is on the Medical Advisory Boards for the National Kidney Foundation and Fresenius Kidney Care. He has been honored by his peers as a New Jersey Monthly magazine “Top Doctor” more than ten times, including 2024.
Dr. Goodman received his undergraduate degree in American History at Brown University, followed by his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at George Washington University and the Washington, DC Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Following residency, Dr. Goodman was an intensive care hospitalist at the University of Pennsylvania Presbyterian Hospital, and then went on to complete a fellowship in Nephrology at New York University. Dr. Goodman was born and raised outside of Boston, Massachusetts (yes, he is a Red Sox fan). In his free time, he enjoys searching for his golf balls in the woods, trying out new recipes, and traveling with his wife and two daughters.
